Jayna Chou always had a strong love for movies and cinematography. Though classically trained at Fu-Jen University in Taiwan, Jayna sought to further pursue her passion for writing and production at Berklee College of Music in 2016. The next two years at Berklee were immersed in western culture and though unfamiliar, the soundscapes will be pivotal in her career.

Since 2018, Jayna is briskly making her mark in Los Angeles. Her original compositions can be heard in the Golden Globe Award movie “The Farewell,” as well as shorts such as “Melodrama” and “Nomad” nominating Jayna for “Best Original Score.”

In early 2023, Jayna starts to compose for music library publishers such as CHROMA Music and APM Music. Her soundtrack "Heritage" was used in the HBO original series "SUCCESSION" season 4 TV Spot.

Jayna’s eclectic and evocative composition aims to seamlessly blend Western culture with an Eastern twist into the industry.
